Title: Senior Engineer (Engineering and Technical Support)

• Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Operation Functions

• Coordinate transmission system protection strategy, including validation of protection settings to ensure the reliability of the network

• Provide standards for power quality

• Assist Operational Planning in the development of remedial strategies in system emergencies and system restoration plan

• Assist Operational and Maintenance in developing and implementing operational safety procedures ensuring the safety on company personnel and the population at large

• Assist Operation and Maintenance with training of personnel so as to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective operations

• Responsible for the design, project management, supervision of construction and commissioning of transmission facilities

• Prepare the appreciate tendering documents

• Perform the technical analysis of the bids received

• Prepare the necessary recommendation for bidder selection based on a technical merit

• Look after environmental assessment issues

• Had a minimum 10 years experience in this field
