Title: Senior Engineer (Operational Planning)

An experienced Electrical Power Engineer will be in charge of operational Planning activities covering transmission network contingency analysis and Action Plans to support control center operations. He shall have an electrical engineering BSc qualification and have a minimum of 12 years experience in power system and control centre operations planning and studies. The responsibilities will include preparation of an annual operations plan, production of an annual maintenance plan in coordination with the maintenance division, participating in developing GCCIA Operating Procedures and updating of the Interconnection Transmission Code through the Operations Committee. The responsibilities also include liaising with the GCC TSOs connected to the GCCIA System with regard to protection settings, and all related settings are in place. With regard to Market Operations, the position will be also responsible for day-ahead and week-ahead transaction scheduling.
